Our own ship

The ferry at Picton

The ferry at Picton

And speaking of ships it was time for us
To get onto one of our own,
With tickets in hand and Jucy safely stowed
On board we were able to roam

passengers need tickets

passengers need tickets

Driving into the hold

Driving into the hold

On board we were told a story
 That since the Kaikoura earthquake
The North and South islands were now closer together
And the journey would be quicker to make

Locating life rings just in case

Locating life rings just in case

just lovely

just lovely

soo much water

soo much water

While the journey was smooth and the weather was great
Wee tigger he was not
All this water all around was all too much
He just wanted it all to stop

not good

  1. I don’t think I have ever made any comments on your posts so you would not be aware that I simply love reading your blog! Every time I get an alert in my email inbox to say Africa Bytes has made a post, I get a smile on my face and know that whatever you have written will be thought provoking, entertaining and interesting.
